Our Commitment to You
At Prairie Shields Technology, we are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality IT services. Our mission is to help you protect your digital assets and create meaningful impact through streamlined workflows, robust security, and innovative solutions. We continually work to improve our services so that you always have the best possible experience.
Service Agreements
To access our IT services, you will need to enter into a service agreement with Prairie Shields Technology. During onboarding, you must provide accurate and complete information about your organization. This ensures that we can deliver the best possible service and maintain the security and proper functionality of your systems.
By engaging our services, you also agree to keep your contact and billing details up to date. Providing false or outdated information may affect your access to specific features or result in service interruptions.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any credentials we provide for accessing your systems or our client portal. Do not share these credentials with unauthorized individuals, and notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.
For enhanced protection, we recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication when available. Regularly updating access credentials further reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your systems.
Authorized Use
As the account holder, you are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel access our services on behalf of your organization. This includes any actions performed by employees, contractors, or third parties with access to your systems.
If we detect suspicious or unauthorized activity, we may take protective measures, which could include temporarily suspending access, requesting additional verification, or other actions necessary to secure your information.
Scope of Services
Prairie Shields Technology provides a range of IT services including, but not limited to, cybersecurity consulting, managed IT services, cloud solutions, network infrastructure, and data management. The specific services provided to you will be outlined in your individual service agreement.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice. We will make every effort to minimize disruption and provide alternative solutions when possible.
Service Level Commitments
We strive to maintain high availability and performance standards for all our services. Specific service level agreements (SLAs) may be included in your service contract, detailing response times, uptime guarantees, and support availability.
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance whenever possible. Emergency maintenance required for security or stability may be performed without prior notice, but we will inform you as soon as practicable.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide timely access to systems, information, and personnel as needed for us to deliver our services effectively. You are also responsible for maintaining adequate backups of your data and following security best practices as recommended by our team.
General Limitations
Prairie Shields Technology services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for excellence, we do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure against all threats. All warranties—express or implied—are disclaimed to the extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use our services, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, except where prohibited by law.
Third-Party Services
Our solutions may integrate with third-party software, platforms, or services. We do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any third-party products or services. Your use of these integrations is at your own risk.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your interactions with third-party services, including outages, data breaches, or service failures outside our control.
Maximum Liability
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount paid by you for our services during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the nature of the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.
